Where Is Frieze London 2026?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The fair takes place at The Regent\u2019s Park<\/strong>, with the entrance located off Park Square West. The 2026 edition runs from 14 to 18 October, with an invitation-only opening on 14 October, followed by preview access and public opening from 15 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frieze Sculpture will also take place in the English Gardens of The Regent\u2019s Park from 16 September to 1 November, extending the artistic programme beyond the main fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the major new features is The Code Universe<\/strong>, a curated section organised by Carol Yinghua Lu<\/strong>, director of Beijing\u2019s Inside-Out Art Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The section examines the forces that shape popular culture and societal transformation, bringing together artistic practices from the late 1970s to the present. It introduces another curatorial perspective to the fair while connecting contemporary art with wider cultural developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Special Commission by Gray Wielebinski<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the more unexpected projects at Frieze London 2026 is Production (2026)<\/strong> by artist Gray Wielebinski<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioned and produced by Dean\u2019s Bottom, the site-specific work transforms the fair\u2019s public toilets into an intimate olfactory experience. Custom scents are diffused through sculptural urinal cakes and toilet-rim blocks, creating an installation that explores ideas surrounding risk, desire, security, and public space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reading Room and Non-Profit Organisations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Another important initiative is the Frieze Reading Room<\/strong>, which will host four non-profit organisations: Nottingham Contemporary, Gasworks, Black Curatorial, and Hospital Rooms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The space allows these organisations to present their programmes while offering editions and prints for sale. Frieze will also bring back Allied Editions, supporting seven London-based non-profit arts organisations including Camden Art Centre, Chisenhale Gallery, ICA, Serpentine Galleries, Studio Voltaire, South London Gallery, and Whitechapel Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experience extends well beyond Regent\u2019s Park. During Frieze Week, special neighbourhood events will take visitors to different parts of London through Bloomsbury Afternoon, East End Day, and West End Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wider programme also includes major exhibitions at institutions such as Tate Britain, Tate Modern, the British Museum, Royal Academy of Arts, Design Museum, Whitechapel Gallery, Serpentine, Hayward Gallery, National Gallery, Barbican Art Gallery, and Camden Art Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
