Boca do Lobo<\/a> work with a wide range of luxurious materials, many of which are combined in a unique way, often resulting in one of a kind pieces and finishes.<\/p>\n

Balancing contrasting materials, textures and colours is key to achieve a unique piece. Curiously, the same rules often apply to interior design and architecture. The Piccadilly sideboard<\/a> recurs\u00a0to the\u00a0use of alternating wood veneers, are often complimented by\u00a0gold leaf surfaces and lacquer finishes. With the metallic leave\u2019s, it is possible to add character and a touch of luxury to the piece, which is \u00a0then mellowed by the clean and monochromatic nature of the lacquered areas.<\/p>\n

The Pixel cabinet<\/a> above resorts to the use of different veneers which are spread throughout the piece\u2019s 1088 triangles, creating a unique mosaic of visual textures which don\u2019t go unnoticed. The Pixel\u2019s exterior is given full visual effect thanks\u00a0to it\u2019s polished brass base and aged mirror interior.<\/p>\n

Above, the Ceramic Eden side table<\/a> is finished with several light lacquer coats, which are then varnished for a high gloss effect. Curiously, these pieces gain interesting colour and visual texture from their baking process, as the glass is heated and cooled to solidify into it\u2019s final shape. It\u2019s surface is inspired by tree\u2019s and flaura, and their organic texture.
