Portuguese design is up and booming, but the name on everybody’s lips at the moment is Cristina Jorge de Carvalho. The Portuguese artist is both an interior designer and architect, with projects ranging from her own showroom to amazing vacation houses!

With a comprehensive portfolio and a creative vision that combines functionality and sophistication, Cristina Jorge de Carvalho takes the lead of her homonymous atelier creating bespoke interior design projects in the areas of Architecture and Interior Design.

Each interior design project is designed as unique, having the client’s personality and lifestyle, as well as the space needs, as the main inspirations. The coding thread that defines all the design projects with CJC signature is based on the balance between clean lines and the intelligent set of volumes, materials and textures. An eclectic and contemporary design approach, where the sobriety of design and comfort find harmony.

Founded in 2000, Atelier Cristina Jorge de Carvalho – Architecture and Interior Design has signed award-winning projects that include private residences, hotels, commercial spaces, among others. The Best Architecture Single Residence Portugal award for the Housing in the Algarve project and the Best Hotel Interior for Europe award for the Altis Prime Hotel project, some of the international awards attributed to the Atelier.
