Aman New York will house 22 private branded residences, including one five-story penthouse. Unmatched luxury! These fully serviced homes with private entrances, will range from one to six bedrooms, with grand fireplaces, select outdoor terraces and heated pools.

Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston, a firm which has collaborated on numerous Aman projects, was behind the design of the luxury hotel and residences. The renowned architect envisioned a project which would pay homage to the Crown Building’s grand architecture but, in the spirit of Aman and its Asian DNA, the iconic landmark would also be revigorated.

The rooms, suites, and residences are true sanctuaries. Also designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, the spaces have the perfect balance between neutral tones and a strong color palette, providing an earthy feeling to the interiors. The furniture and furnishings complement that earthiness beautifully, as well as the use of wood and layered materials. A home or a hotel room that is meant to be a calming and soothing refuge in the busy New York City.

The New York luxury hotel and residences are the latest newcomer for Aman, which has also announced a wellness-focused brand, Janu, with hotels planned in Japan, Montenegro, and Saudi Arabia. The group has been evolving rapidly over the past few years and the global pandemic did not slow them down.
