When it comes to fine Italian design, Antonio di Maro & partners are very keen on it. The design studio truly enhances the Italian buildings, when it comes to the inside and outside. The interior design studio‘s latest project is in ‘Palazzo de Franciscis’, the historic residence of the homonymous Casertana middle-class family. Located in the heart of Campania Felix, among vaults frescoed by Torelli in floral style, the redesigned building now functions as a stylish ‘Champagneria’ named KLU, an exclusive modern design environment where you can enjoy quality time, food and beverages from over the world.

Antonio di Maro & partners started the interior design project by researching the background of the building, in terms of its historic and architectural value, as well as its structural composition. after observing the site and the pre-existing building, the modern architects were able to redesign the interior of the palazzo, while preserving and highlighting elements that showcase the beauty of the original architectural character. This is how the design team conceived a contemporary design project on an “older” building.

Antonio di Maro & partners’ ‘Champagneria’ includes some rooms dedicated to beverage tasting, that were completely reconstructed, as restoration was not possible due to excessive degradation. however, modern design still features details that reveal the historic beauty of the building. the renovation was carried out in such a way that it emphasizes the deep-rooted relationship of the palazzo with its surroundings. At Palazzo de Franciscis you will experience something that goes beyond the world of gastronomy and arts while surrounded by a luxurious ambiance that will make you not want to leave.
