In modern interiors, lighting design is one of the most important factors, if not the most important, as it is the easiest to overlook. The way the light combines with the elements, the way the languid shades present themselves, how the projection affects the overall mood, every detail comes across the minds of the best interior designers when they’re imagining what pieces to choose. At Boca do Lobo we believe in the importance of lighting design, and we’ll be displaying some interior design ideas that take illumination where it belongs: in gold.
There’s a certain post-apocalyptic feel to this interior where a golden starburst chandelier overlooks our Bonsai Dining Table and projects its light over a contemporary rug. Note how the wall painting works as a frame for the lighting piece.
There’s something fresh about this interior, something charming about those clean blue tones. As for the lighting design, an Empire Snooker by Luxxu was placed as an enhancement to the golden details of the Heritage Table.

Lighting design in dark spaces can be tough, and on this particular case the Supernova Chandelier, made from the burst of a thousand stars, makes a better use of space and blends with the golden details on the other furniture pieces.
This interior features Delightfull’s Clark Suspension Lamp, a beautiful jazzy piece that turns interior lighting placement into a concert.
