Castelbrac is a villa in French coast that was converted into an Art Deco Luxury Hotel. Today it is a welcoming and modern hotel whose inspiration has been found “in a mixed art deco style with the sea “, according to the interior designer that redesigned the new space. The interior designer Sandra Benhamou was responsible for the project, along with Alma Leonie Mason. They used modern furniture from our partner brand Brabbu.

“I wanted to create a warm atmosphere, with feminine lightness, since maybe the architecture of the place has something masculine, I brought femininity and softness, with the challenge of maintaining the essence of the place, although without falling into the trap of nostalgia”, explained Benhamou.
The interior designer wanted to maintain the historical character of some elements, such as the wooden ceilings, the fireplace, the staircase … and also to remake others while maintaining they’re original aesthetic, such as wood and floors, although with a touch of sophistication” calm and eclecticism”. The art deco is found in details such as metal-look carpentry, the central staircase, or even in the door handles, faucets, or heads.
CastelBrac created a memorable space with sumptuous textiles, vintage wallpaper, and a scenography point. The idea is “an atmosphere of serenity, relaxation, and conversation”, point its interior designers. We can not stop looking at his restaurant and his bar, with an original bar that resembles that of an ancient aquarium. The bar is illuminated by golden suspension lamps and those waves in bright tones.
