The interior design project brief for this luxury ski chalet was to create a highly comfortable mountain retreat, suitable for family winter ski holidays and entertaining. Providing 580 sq. meters of living, dining and bedroom spaces, each room has bespoke design features and carefully selected finishes.
In the principal open-plan living and dining room, a fireplace with contemporary design takes center stage. In this interior design project, rich fabric tones and dark timber hues contrast with the paler wall and floor finishes, creating an elegant and sumptuous entertaining space.
In this snowy interior design project, hand-crafted detailing relates directly to the chalet’s mountain location, where specialist, artisan trades are still utilized to achieve very high-quality finishes. A stone-topped occasional table has a hand-finished appearance whilst being sophisticated and timeless in style.
The bespoke forged and turned staircase plunges through five levels of the chalet! A unique balustrade of ‘frozen’ glass spindles, made to our own interior design, cascades downwards like icicles, shimmering against the backdrop of a dark, beaded wallpaper that links each floor. The perfect amount of elegance in one of the most beautiful and luxury ski chalets.
