Filled with sculptural aesthetics and modern furniture pieces with a unique design, Gomez designed a marvelous harmony and synchronization in this contemporary apartment. This colorful and modern house is situated in a 17th-century building with high ceilings, and it used to be a pharmaceutical factory. Located in the Le Marais neighborhood, the architectural building features high ceilings and has a private wonderful garden: all these things and details inspired Didier Gomez and helps him to create a contemporary interior design with a confident use of color and a gorgeous art collection. However, the main focus in the modern living room is the artworks and the fine craftsmanship pieces.
Didier Gomez redesigned his modern apartment around a forgotten trove of geometric artworks by famous names, the most significant of which is a remarkable painting by Cy Twombly. Inside this renovated apartment, the proportion of the scale of the rooms to the furniture and art creates a visual treat popped with both sharp graphics and surprising bursts of color. Featuring warm wood finishes in the 17th century flat, counting with a natural oak floor and enormous unadorned walnut doors, act as an anchor and deliver balance to the sculptural furniture and geometric artwork.
The contemporary dining room presents a sunny and yellow touch with a simple wooden floor and white background that gives a sunny and illuminated atmosphere. There is also an exclusive pendant lamp over the table, some yellow modern chairs with a unique design.
Inside this interior design project by Didier Gomez, the kitchen is kept unadulterated and simple, with an only piece of statement lighting stealing the stage.
