Architectural Installations and Creative Projects
A key feature of Dubai Design Week 2026 is its programme of architectural installations exploring materials, sustainability, and public space. More than 20 projects transform the district through experimental structures and immersive experiences.
The winning Urban Commission, Three Gardens and a Room, by NAO Architects, explores atmosphere through vegetation, light, shade, and gathering spaces. Other highlights include CHATAI 2.0, developed by Nikken Sekkei and SOBOKUYA, and InBetween What Was and What Will Be, by aestudio, which reinterprets reclaimed concrete rubble.

The festival highlights regional and international creative talent. Featured designers include Agata Kurzela, Nadine Kanso, Omar Al Gurg, AlZaina Lootah, and Rasha Saffarini, whose work explores the relationship between contemporary design, cultural heritage, and craftsmanship.
Visitors can also discover exhibitions by Woods Bagot and L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, supported by Van Cleef & Arpels. The UAE Designer Exhibition returns under the theme Inherited Futures, examining how traditional materials and techniques can inspire contemporary creations.

Workshops and the Marketplace
Beyond exhibitions, Dubai Design Week 2026 offers workshops, talks, and interactive experiences through initiatives such as Maker Space, with contributions from universities and creative organisations.
On 7 and 8 November, the Marketplace brings together independent designers, regional brands, and local makers selling homeware, jewellery, fashion, and lifestyle products. Food experiences and family activities add to the programme.
