Soaring 290 meters above sea level, the Wallich Residence is a collection of exclusive apartments and penthouses in Guoco Tower. The contemporary design of the 3,509 square feet apartment was inspired by the great rooms of New York City’s luxury penthouses.
The black door gives you that whole dark timber paneled look that runs right across this Singapore penthouse.
The luxury furniture of this imposing Singapore penthouse is all very low slung, touches the ground very gently almost like ballerinas on tiptoes, they selected this furniture to really preserve the view that is out into the Strait so nothing really distracts your view as you walk into modern design space.
They created a 10-seater table, they didn’t want to be imposing, they didn’t want it to be the center focus of the entire modern dining room, therefore they chose this beautiful table from Molteni&C, which is somewhat semi-translucent, to give you that lightness that doesn’t block that view out.
So, if you look at the timber veining in there, it’s obvious, it’s dark and it’s textured, you do sense that luxury design, that connection they believe to nature and that is also reflected in the entire space. The dining room lamps are from Tom Dixon, and the design team loved them from the first moment that they laid their eyes on them. They are almost organic in shape, and they are semi-translucent and reflective at the same time.

A long corridor connects the living area of this Singapore penthouse to the three bedrooms at the far end of the apartment. The master bedroom is very spacious and created elegant simplicity even in the design of the bed head, the design team was very careful to give indicators of privacy so you have that trellis back wall and a tucked-in bed head to give that sense of privacy and coziness.
In the next modern bedroom, the scenario is completely different, the hue palette is very bright, you walk in through a little alcove that gives people time to take in the luxury designed space of this incredible Singapore penthouse.
