Island-Vibed Beach House
A stairway to heaven welcomes you when entering the main house. Hand-carved by local island craftsmen and wrapped in rope for an island-vibed handrail, the koa wood spiral staircase reminds of a fish’s spine. Vintage Eames stools add a mid-century style to keep a modern and eclectic vibe. The custom sofa is in a fabric by Peter Dunham, and the cocktail table is by Jayson Home.
A stylish bathroom with a Moroccan vibe in the middle of Hawaii? Sounds beautiful to us! The walls, flooring, and tub are tiled in handmade Moroccan zellige, the sink fittings are by California Faucets and the vintage and antique Chinese ceramics are from JF Chen.
Tranquil Balinese-Style Retreat
For this living room in Malibu, Martyn Lawrence Bullard picked ocean and earth tones. A mixture of Japanese textiles on upholstery, Danish mid-century furnishings, and Balinese-inspired motifs fill the interior creating a soft yet distinctive expression.
