Renault, Suite N°4

“SUITE N°4 is a new mobility and travel experience. I wanted to merge the worlds of cars and architecture to create an open-air hotel room. Even better than the finest palatial suite, the car is exactly where you want it to be, whether that’s by the sea, in the middle of a field or driving around the city you’ve always dreamed of.” ML

Once Upon a Dream, Smart Sleep Installation
Once Upon a Dream is a space for sleep recovery. An hybrid object between a four-poster bed and a bedroom, between a fairy-tale and science-fiction, this project is based on physiological studies of sleeping disorders, and in particular insomnia. A reference to the History of the House, as Veuve Cliquot was herself a notorious insomniac. The principal rests upon the artificial and programmable management of natural day-night cycles. This bedroom-capsule indeed integrates light, sound and temperature variation programmes from amongst the powerful stimuli taking our organisms from activity to rest, from objective reality to the deepest dreams.
