The modern architecture of this Hamptons house formed the perfect backdrop to create an elegant style, away from the aesthetics of the traditional cottages in the area.
ASH NYC is an interior design expert in an increasingly fashionable discipline: staging. Its designers know perfectly how to transform a space thanks to pieces of furniture, fabrics, colors, and materials.

“When we started this project, the house was empty and for sale. We loved the challenge and the opportunity to demonstrate the value of our staging, which has the ability to completely transform the perception of anyone discovering space, “said Andrew Bowen, staging director at ASH NYC.
On the ground floor, an open lobby invites you to enter the modern living space adorned with a cozy fireplace. On the left, you reach the dining room and kitchen, while behind the main room there is another smaller one and a bedroom. The upper floor houses an office and the master suite in one of the wings, as well as two guest bedrooms in the other.
“It was important to reflect a sense of relaxation and create a refuge away from urban life, but at the same time he had to like someone who lives in the city,” said Andrew Bowen. The restricted and neutral chromatic palette consists of white and ivory tones complemented by black touches.
The materials are of high quality, show a casual aesthetic and are mostly natural. Wood, linen, cotton, and wool are joined by glass and steel that create a feeling of lightness. Classic mid-century pieces by Poul Kjærholm and Marcel Breuer are combined with contemporary furniture by Christian Liaigre, Kalmar, and ASH.
