“They love Ibiza, they escape whenever they can and in fact they got married there. For years they have a house in the Roca Llisa urbanization but thinking about when their two children grow up, they have made this investment, “says the decorator Miriam Alía.
The house is divided into two areas: a private area, with four bedrooms and the respective bathrooms, and other social, with a kitchen-living room, a toilet, and the terrace. “It’s a summer residence, so I wanted it to be very clean and bright, fresh, comfortable and modern, but with pops of bright colors.”
“As the ceilings were low, the game of geometries and prints in textiles and walls has been important to give depth and richness, as well as the use of the mirrors, a modern furniture piece I adore. I have also used rugs that bring warmth to marble floors, “continues the interior designer.
The relaxed and playful modern interiors are complemented by photographs of icons, such as Roger Moore or Marilyn Monroe, which the owner has been collecting in her travels. “I like the glamorous touch of the 20s, the pieces of the 50s and the daring and colorful proposals of the Memphis Group in the 80s. Also the eclecticism and the mix. Since I started, I’ve tried to risk and be different, ” the designer concludes.
