Many celebrities call New York City home. Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner are no strangers to the Big Apple, the married couple has been walking the streets of dreams for a while now. Their New York Penthouse is the perfect embodiment of the city’s industrial flair and the best that luxury design has to offer and is now for sale for the modest quantity of $23.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner paid $18 million for the unit in 2018, and they’ve added value to the industrial apartment, but it’s time to move to a more spacious unit, since they welcomed their first child.
The modern apartment, known as Penthouse V, spans about 5,700 square feet with barrel-vaulted brick ceilings and original cast iron beams and columns. It has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. The two-level New York Penthouse is a great example of the city’s industrial design scene, but it also harbors unmatched luxury within its walls. The perfect example of that is the upper floor, which can be reached either through a private elevator or more dramatically, through the winding white oak staircase.
Along with the bedrooms and common areas, the space features incredible amenities such as a home gym and two spacious dressing rooms, one of which measures nearly the same size as the unit’s guest bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a sleeping area and a sitting area with a minimal gas fireplace, the aforementioned dressing rooms, and two bathrooms, the larger of which has Arabescato Oro marble covered floors and walls and a freestanding tub.
The modern apartment has all the right industrial design elements such as exposed brick, and original cast iron beams. The space is elevated through the use of bespoke furniture and luxury furnishings. The unique kitchen adds a sense of playfulness to the unit with its joyfull pastel green cabinets and dramatic steel and brass La Cornue range.
A true ode to luxury living and a great inspiration for those who have a soft spot for industrial design…
