Todd Hellmuth comes up with amazing custom spaces that are unique, and his New York-based design firm follows that same principle.
Todd Hellmuth Studio blends historically-charged references with warm modernism, achieving the perfect balance between mid-century and contemporary design. The New York-based design firm pays particular attention to materiality and color, as they create spaces that are both functional and harmonious in all its elements.
Each interior design project is conceived as an expression of the clients’ personality and vision, and their ultimate goal is to create timeless interior design, lasting memories that survive time itself. Todd Hellmuth worked closely with a friend in this particular interior design project, and it is the perfect embodiment of how knowing the client is essential to achieve unique interior design.

The duo started with the sofa, a piece that was initially meant to be grey but ended up being in a dark green mohair, providing a bit of color that combined with the fiberglass shades furnished the living room in a warm and sophisticated way.
The interior design project combines mid-century elements and contemporary design in a beautifully harmonious way, the New York interior designer also found incredible vintage furniture to balance the client’s contemporary art collection.
The warm tones and woody elements provide a certain Autumnal vibe, the vintage elements make things a bit more fun and the collectable design elevates the interior design project to a true luxury status. A great design inspiration and a feast for all senses!
