Born in Madeira Island, Nini Andrade Da Silva, a Portuguese Top Interior Designer, was responsible to build the Vine Hotel’s modern interior design. During the process, the interior designer has interpreted Madeira’s tradition of fortified wines in the background of the ultra-modern building by contemporary architects Ricardo Bofill and João Francisco Caires. This interior design project is a reflection of the richness, history, and refinement of a full-bodied wine.
The lobby and the reception were designed by Nini Andrade Da Silva, distinct elements with different dimensions and oval shape and without edges, Garouta do Calhau Furniture.
Featuring modern furniture pieces with a unique design and inspired by natural elements, inside this luxury hotel, Nini Andrade Da Silva creates deep purple shades in the lobby, contemporary bedrooms with different colours according to each season of the year and also, hues and materials combined to create and originate a sweet and melodious environment.
Madeira is definitely one of the main inspirations for Nini Andrade Da Silva’s creative work and personal design. According to the top interior designer: “Madeira has always given me much peace, much freedom, not to mention the sea, the light. And I think a person who’s in this environment has to create.”
