This interior design project is elegant and whimsical, it can even be described as playful! This townhouse in the Upper East Side area of New York City really is most New Yorkers’ dream home.
Nothing in this house remained before design firm Fox-Nahem intervened, no floor, no ceiling, nothing! This interior design project took 30 months and even the ceiling heights were changed. Nahem stripped the house completely, almost link a blank canvas where the firm could change it entirely and do whatever they wanted to.
It was certainly a time-consuming renovation, but this New York real estate turned out to be utterly beautiful and a true honor to modern design. Nahem went all around the globe for the exclusive furniture present in this interior design project. They found gems that were at auction from around the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Great interior design ideas are present in this project, a mix of old and new, where vintage certainly has a big impact on it. The homeowners, who stay anonymous, were not the kind of clients that just hand of the money and completely leave it up to the design firm.
It was a collaborative effort for this interior design project where the main goal was to not have a common style for every single room, but an individual touch to each division instead. Fox-Nahem described this interior design project as “every floor has a way of bringing somebody into it.”
