Patina Miller’s New York City loft is a cozy industrial space with lots of light. The perfect embodiment of loft living, the actress was very clear about what she was looking for in a home in an AD interview:
“I love big open spaces. I need to have light, big windows, and a view, because it really makes a difference in my mood and my well-being.”

Patina and her family found this 3,500-square-foot loft with a 500-square-foot terrace in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. The luxurious apartment was furnished, decorated, and completed by New York based-design firm Evan Edward before the first lockdown in 2020. Perfect timing to have a comfy private oasis, a modern sanctuary, a place to be lived and enjoyed.
The luxurious New York City loft is an ode to warm industrial design! The big windows, exposed bricks and pipes, large metal frames are perfectly balanced with bright colors and modern furniture pieces. A potentially cold environment is elevated to a cozy and luxurious design inspiration.
Josh Evan and Michael Edward were responsible for the interior project, a harmonious combination of vintage elements and contemporary design.
The living and dining areas are so synergetic in their elements. Vintage decor and modern furniture pieces beautifully coexist with strong colors and diverse shapes/materials. There is no lack of visual interest and the semicircular sofas purchased through Angela Brown Limited are the center of attention. The rooms are always filled with some theatricality, without giving up on luxury and glamour.
Texture is a key element in this luxurious New York City loft and the dining room is the perfect embodiment of that principle. The bedrooms also carry that layered textured design, and complement beautifully the interior project.
Patina Miller’s New York City loft is a great design inspiration and an incredible interior project by Evan Edward, one of the most exciting New York-based design firms right now!
