Created over 20 years ago by the professional and organizing union of art fairs, Ateliers d’Art de France, the Ob’Art fairs are established in regions to offer the general public the discovery of craftsmanship. It’s an encounter with the creator, but also through unique pieces. Ob’Art is happening from 24 to 26 November 2023 at Espace des Blacks Manteaux.

The general public and art lovers go to discover the novelties offered by the 70 to 90 exhibitors present at these human-sized fairs: ceramists, wood turners, furniture designers, glass blowers, fashion designers, sculptors, lighting designers, jewellers… Ateliers d’Art de France ensures that it represents a great diversity of materials, and types of pieces (decoration, furniture, jewellery, fashion accessories, sculpture, tableware, etc.) but also of professions among the list of 281 professions.
Ateliers d’Art de France
Ateliers d’Art de France is the representative professional union of arts and crafts. It brings together more than 6,000 artisans, artists working with materials, and art manufacturers, including 95 associations. Its missions are to represent and defend professionals in the field of arts and crafts, and to contribute to the economic development of workshops.
It serves as the key intermediary between institutions, professionals, and the general public. As a unifying force, a catalyst for discussions, and a staunch advocate for artisans, the professional union is dedicated to heritage and creativity. It functions as a space for reflection and innovation.

It involves inspiration, imagination, and creations from objects purchased, hunted in flea markets, reclaimed, and repurposed on occasion. A second life for these objects will bring joy to lovers of vintage and industrial decor.
ATELIERS CLARISSE DUTRAIVE
Halfway between artistic craftsmanship and design, Clarisse Dutraive has been designing and creating exceptional glass-fusing lighting for over 20 years, catering to individuals, decorators, and interior architects. Entirely made in France (93), her lighting fixtures stand out both for their colourful character and their sleek forms.
CLAIRE MOREL CRÉATIONS
The Atelier Jour de Lune was born in 2017 from the last-minute rescue of the tools of one of the last French manufacturers of lampshade frames. The workshop now works to reinterpret the expertise of working with steel wire and offers original creations, with the secret mission of bringing softness and poetry into interiors.
MARGAUX M DECORATION
As a 38-year-old dye artisan, shares a passion for sustainable and botanical decoration. MARGAUX M DECORATION is a design and textile production studio that specializes in plant-based dyes and local fibres, with a committed approach to craftsmanship and contemporary partisanship.
YURIKO OKAMOTO
They create objects such as tableware and interior decorations in hand-blown glass. Their pieces are unique and bear traces of the tools used in their creation. They possess a special charm and softness characteristic of hand-blown glass. These are living pieces intended to be used in daily life, infused with the artisan’s spirit.
