Located in Sydney, Australia, Lurline Bay House is a four-storey oceanfront residence designed by Greg Natale, who worked as both interior designer and interior architect. Conceived as a sophisticated interpretation of a coastal retreat, the residence combines a soft pastel palette with opulent finishes, creating an elegant and immersive approach to contemporary luxury living.
The interiors draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape, with shades of grey, blush, and teal echoing the tones of the ocean and coastline. Polished plaster ceilings introduce a fluid, reflective quality, while textured furniture and wallpaper add depth and softness throughout the spaces. A travertine staircase and wall form a striking architectural feature, enhanced by brass railings and complemented by brass and gold accents that continue across the residence.
A curated selection of collectible design pieces reinforces the sophisticated character of the interiors. Boca do Lobo’s Empire Poplar Center Table brings a sculptural presence to the living space, while BRABBU’s Ardara Console and Essential Home’s Edith Sideboard and Botti Side Table introduce expressive forms, refined materials, and a distinctive mid-century-inspired character. Together, these pieces complement Greg Natale’s opulent interpretation of coastal living and contribute to the residence’s layered, luxurious aesthetic.
