Designed by Ferreira Arquitetos, Subenshi Sushi brings a refined contemporary identity to the heart of Aveiro, overlooking the Canal do Cojo. The restaurant combines Japanese-inspired dining with a sophisticated interior, unfolding across two distinct rooms and featuring three aquariums, including one of the largest in a European restaurant. Natural materials, greenery, and integrated lighting create an immersive and elegant atmosphere.

The interiors explore a dialogue between contemporary design, natural materials, and references to Aveiro’s identity. Wood, greenery, integrated lighting, and sculptural elements create an immersive setting, while the carefully composed spaces allow each area to establish its own atmosphere. The result is an elegant yet welcoming environment where architecture, dining, and visual experience come together.

Boca do Lobo takes part in the project with the Millionaire Safe and Hera Pendant, adding sculptural presence and distinctive character to the interiors. Their expressive forms, precious materials, and artistic details complement Subenshi’s contemporary aesthetic, reinforcing the dialogue between collectible design and hospitality.
